Novar Films is a Scottish production company which specialises in documentary. The name Novar Films originated from the iconic camera lens, as well as the location of the birthplace of the company.
The companies logo and overarching branding draws inspiration from the shape of the Novar lens, and was created on the foundation of the importance of light in capturing an image, as well as the process of documentary filmmaking in shining a light on something that wasn't immediately clear.
